He then joined Southcote in 2002.

Mike is a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage.

Mike enjoys working with a wide range of conditions. He is experienced in treating acute conditions like muscle strains and tears as well as dealing with chronic cases of muscle tension and muscle imbalance.

Mike also has experience with treating a range of sports enthusiasts participating in sports such as triathlons, golf, dance, football, rugby, martial arts and bowls.

He also enjoys working with people from a non-sporting background who can benefit from receiving a massage.  Mike enjoys helping people relax and unwind with the use of relaxing massage and Indian Head massage as well. These are all important components of Mike's work.

Sports massage uses a range of techniques to work out areas of tension, adhesions or scar tissue. It can be used to address areas of deep-seated tension as invariably it will involve deep tissue massage. Often stretching techniques are used to reinforce improvements made through the massage work.

Mike has two children - Max and Madeleine.

He is also a keen cyclist and has taken part in events in Belgium, Holland,  France and Spain.
