I qualified from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in 2019 completing 700 hours of Practitioner Training. I am a member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association.
I also offer Sports and Remedial Massage therapy which is: identifying, treating, and supporting in the rehabilitation of soft tissue injuries. I Qualified from the London School of Sports Massage in 2013 qualifying with a BTEC Level 5 Diploma.
Craniosacral Therapy was developed through Osteopathy and supports your body’s innate ability to self-regulate, restore and heal itself from the effects of physical and emotional stress and trauma. One off events or an accumulation of stress can be held in the nervous system disrupting the natural balance and flow of our system. I am trained to sense tensions in the body and help to release them in a supportive and controlled environment balancing the whole person: body, mind and spirit. The gentle hands-on nature of the work makes it suitable for everyone from babies to older clients, those during pregnancy and anyone rehabilitating following an injury.
I have successfully helped clients with the following needs:
- Preparing for IVF
- Suffering from chronic and acute back pain
- Migraines
- Stress and Anxiety
- Disrupted sleep
- Jaw pain
- Tinnitus
- Digestive issues
As a Counsellor, I approach my work with the same empathy, compassion and trust I received during my own therapeutic journey. I use a person centred, holistic approach to counselling. My focus is on you as a person and how your experiences make you feel, and how they have shaped and continue to influence your life.
We collaborate through your exploration sensitively, safely and intuitively, increasing your agency and skills, to not only make changes in the present, but skills which you can use in your future. We work to understand the deep-rooted behaviours, protective mechanisms, and habits to gain a clarity of the person who we truly want to be.
From my work as a Craniosacral Therapist, I have extensive knowledge in somatic based practices (understanding the deep connection between the mind and body) and the physical and emotional effects of daily and major stress, anxiety and trauma.
Knowledge is the power to bring about change.
